Transcript for "From Juiced Technologies to Quickbase Extensions: Taking Juiced Add-Ons to the Next Level":
Hey, everyone. Welcome to today's webinar where we are talking about Quickbase Extensions, formerly known as Juice. We will get started in just a moment here. A lot of you are already dropping in the chat where you're joining us from, which is always great to see. So keep doing that while more people get logged into audio and everything. Seeing quite a few people joining us today from Texas, so quick shameless plug. Hope you guys are going to be making a trip to Houston for Empower this May. Love to see all the all the various locations y'all are joining from, but a lot of the Texas folks caught my eye today. So my name is Charlie. I'm a customer marketing manager here at Quickbase. So if you've been on a webinar before, you've likely seen me, really responsible for things like this, communicating all of our latest products and features to you all so that you can get the most out of your Clickbase experience. I myself am from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where we have had fake spring the last week, and now it's supposed to hit zero again in snow this weekend. So I'm really jealous of all of the southerners who are commenting in the chat right now weather wise. A few housekeeping things here before we get started. First and foremost, we are recording this session. So if you need to leave early or pass this on to anyone on your team or just want to, watch the recording again, you will be able to do so. We will send that recording to you tomorrow, so be on the lookout in your email inbox. We will send out that recording and some resources as a follow-up from this event here today. We do also wanna make sure that this is as engaging as possible and that we are addressing the things that you all want to see most. So while we are talking about extensions, we'll show demos of the different extensions here today. So we're really driving all of that content. We do, again, wanna answer your questions that you have. So you'll notice in GoldCast, the webinar platform, there is a q and a feature by the chat where you are all chatting in right now. So submit questions throughout this presentation at any time to that q and a box. We will get to as many as we can at the end. If we do not have time to answer your question, we will make sure that someone, from Quickbase follows up with you directly to get you an answer to that question after this webinar as well. Finally, I mentioned Empower a little bit earlier. We are giving away a free pass to Empower. So if you are on live right now, if you are joining this webinar live, you are automatically entered to win. We will be randomly selecting the winner from the live attendees this afternoon after the webinar, and then we will reach out to you via email if you are the winner. And then in that email tomorrow that I mentioned with the recording, we will also let you all know who the lucky winner was from today's webinar. So those are all the housekeeping things we've got. And with that, I am going to bring our speakers for today on stage and let them introduce themselves. So Harrison and Keith, thank you guys for joining us, and I'll let you guys take it from here. Awesome. Hey, everyone. Harrison Hirsch. I've met or talked to many of you on the product team here. Very involved with this, the acquisition of Juiced over the last year or so and kind of bringing that to all of you. So I'll let Keith introduce yourself, and then we'll get started. Hello, everyone. Thanks for joining us today. Keith Justice, former CEO of Juice Technologies, now a product adviser for our Quickbase extensions. All right. So we'll hit a few things today really quick. Keith, I'll give you a backstory of Juiced. I think it's a great story that many of you will appreciate. I'll talk about kinda how we thought about bringing all these things together. We'll go into some of the extensions in-depth, and then we'll leave it for we'll demo, and then we'll leave it open for some time for questions from all of you. One thing that I want to address up front, I know there's been some questions on folks that are either that have an existing contract with Juiced and kind of curious how that affects you. Just for the sake of time, we won't go too far into the details today, but we encourage all of you to reach out to your account team. We, wanna make that as seamless as possible for you. So based on kind of which extensions you're using now, how the pricing shakes out, and all of those sort of things, we wanna make it, easy and and be flexible and make it work for you. Ideally, we wanna get you access to more things than you have access to now. That would be ideal. I mean, we're gonna keep making the the juice offering more valuable over time. So if that's a question that that you all have because you've been using juice for one year or some of you ten years or fifteen years, that's great. And we appreciate that you've been taking advantage of those extensions. I would encourage you, like I said, to reach out to your account team. If you have renewals in the short term, you've probably already been reached out to. And if there's anything that Keith or I can do during that process, welcome to reach out to us as well. But I just wanted to, to kinda start with that because I know there's a whole bunch of questions. So, all right. Keith, give us a quick, quick juice story, the. history. Sure. Thanks, Harrison. So a little bit about My brother Todd and I founded Juiced in 2005. We are based in Long Island, New York or on Long Island in New York. We've we built our business around the Quickbase platform. So we we use Quickbase as a customer prior to starting Juiced, and we saw the power of Quickbase way back when, and that was in the early days. And we we actually thought, hey. We can we can build the business around this platform, and and that's what we did. We were building applications for customers. We were one of the first members of the Quickbase partner program, and we were building apps. We were maintaining applications for for thousands of customers over that that twenty year span. And and in our experience, we're working with our customers, the the the biggest common theme we would hear is, hey. We love Quickbase, but we want more from it. Can can we can you help us get more out of it? And and we were happy to do that. We we thought, hey. This is a it's a great opportunity for us to getting closer with our customers. So we had customers that wanted to store files outside of Quickbase. They wanted to store files that were bigger than 75 meg, and that was where we really started our first add on, which was an integration to Amazon s three. We had a customer called Jibjabs, so you might you might have heard of them. And they needed to source some of these 500 megabyte files out in in Quickbase, and, obviously, you couldn't do that. So we built an integration to Amazon s three, and then that's when the lights went on for us and said, hey. If they're having this problem, there's probably a lot of other people having this problem. So that's why we tried to productize that that integration. And then customers are saying, hey. We we we wanna generate documents from Quickbase. ExactForms is good. It just doesn't give us that richness of a document. So so what can you guys do to help us out there? So that's when we built our first flagship product, ExactForms Plus, to generate documents. And then customers wanted to send those documents out for for as attachments. We built courier. And then, again, these are things that our interactions with our customers really drove and and changed our business. Our business changed from being software developers from building apps and and and maintaining apps to building products. And we became a SaaS business, so we were a software as as a service company because of our customers driving us to be that way. And that's really what we we thought that was a great business model for us. And and our goal was to build services that were easy to deploy, were common so that they could be installed in any type of application. Poor design, doesn't matter. Good design, obviously, that's what we want. So so that was really our journey through through the the twenty plus years of of working with Quickbase. And as we were as we were going through that journey too, we were always thinking about where is Juice gonna be someday? Like, obviously, when I could run this business forever. And we always said, well, what's gonna happen to Juice? What's gonna happen to our products? What's gonna happen to our employees? And and we were focused on that, and that was always something that we we wanted to make sure that we had a handle on. And we had some conversations with prior leadership teams at Quickbase, nothing that really materialized from those conversations until last year at Empower New Orleans. I had a conversation with Ed Jennings who now is the former CEO of of Quickbase. But he showed a lot of interest, it was perfect timing because they had just spun up an m and a team led led by Matt Pearson. And we really got the discussions going. And in June, we started those discussions. And as of 11/28/2025, Juiced is now part of the Quickbase family. So you're looking back at those last three three months, four months, it it is it was the right decision. There were no regrets. We're excited to see where Quickbase takes our add ons, which really are now rebranded as Quickbase extensions. So I'll hand it back to you, Harrison. Awesome. Thank you, Keith. And as we start getting into some more detail as folks have questions, I'm just going to plug the Q and A section on the left again. I know there'll be a lot going on in chat. But if you want us to address something either written or verbally, please hit that Q and A button and add it there. So, let me just kind of talk about how we thought about the extensions. You know, Juice, as Keith just mentioned, had built a lot of different tools over the years. Some applied to, you know, very broad sets of customers. Some were fairly focused, but had a lot of a lot of tools on the truck that could help. And so, we knew there were a few key areas we wanted to start with, but this was all around adding more value to your existing Quickbase ecosystem by taking the Juice tools, bringing them under our roof. You know, everything from a billing perspective to also security and support. We are working on the support process now. You'll start to get responses from the Quickbase support team if you ask a question about Juice. Making sure that our site reliability team gets alerts if there's ever an issue, knock on wood. You know, those are all things that are really important to us. We know how you all use Quickbase, permission critical use cases. And so bringing that all under the Quickbase roof was really important. And so where we wanted to start with, you know, thinking about document creation, we have document creation doc we call it doc gen casually and certainly. That came out about a year and a half ago. It's really good, and it's it's always been intended for simple to intermediate documents. In fact, the the juice folks or some of the I think we're actually the first externally outside of Quickbase that saw DocGen and and tried it because we we valued that relationship and wanted to make sure kinda the separation was was there. But we felt like document generation was just something that you know, if you needed to generate a contract in Quickbase or an invoice, we we wanted you to able to do that as part of your Quickbase subscription. But there was so much more out there, generating multipage documents, really rich formatting, using Excel, signatures, all of those types of things that that Juice was doing really well. Communication like texts and emails, taking our email notifications a step further, being able to sell, to send texts, and last but not least, taking mapping to to another level. So think about all those capabilities all under one roof where they're all available on one plan with greater security, greater support from basically 800 people now. That's been the idea. And really to hone in on where we wanted to start, you know, think about a few things. So, you know, a few problem spaces, critical communication occurring outside key workflows. We hear a lot from customers. You know, I've got my work orders, my inspections occurring inside of Quickbase, but then I I pull out my phone and I text Keith and I say, hey. I need your help on work order one, three. And that was something that we wanted to kind of break down silos on. Again, you might have really, complex rich processes in Quickbase, but then the key outputs are manually put together. So you're generating one thing out of Quickbase. You're downloading another PDF. You're stitching them together, and then you're manually sending them out maybe through DocuSign or another e signature provider. We even have a pipeline channel that many of you are using, but we wanted to offer something even easier. And then last but not least, location based work, hard to you know, being kinda hard to manage at scale because you couldn't really get really great visualizations out of you know, visualizations as part of your workflow was input based. So, you know, those are kind of the initial six extensions, and you'll see at the bottom there how we're solving those problems. Courier and TextMy Quickbase, ExactForms Plus and Excel docs, JuiceAssign, and QB maps. Now one of the things that was really important to us was, you know, simplicity and and transparency and pricing and also making sure that you were able to get, take advantage of basically more than one extension, at a time. That's kind of what the highest usage has been of Juiced over the years when we kinda look back at kinda how all these things work together. So there's these three packages here. There's many customers that are doing kinda fairly simple workflows, and that lowest plan is perfectly sufficient. These are annual prices and they're pooled transactions. So it's whether you send one text and you generate a 100 documents or you generate one document and send a 100 texts, that's totally totally okay. And we are in the process of working on making a counter available in platform analytics so you all have clear visibility. So, again, would suggest whether you're an existing customer of Juice or you're new, please reach out to your account team. We can discuss this in-depth and make sure you kind of understand all of your options. All right. One quick bird's eye view of what those six extensions are to start, and then I'm going to hand it over to Keith, and he'll go into some more detail. But the first two, top to bottom, on the left, ExactForms Plus and Excel docs are the ability to create Word and PDF documents or Excel spreadsheets out of Quickbase data and virtually unlimited. Right? Kind of if you think about whatever you can do in Word and Excel, that's kind of where the limits are of of as far as what you can generate at a Quickbase. So these are really powerful document creation tools that a lot of people are taking advantage of. They're definitely some of the flagship offerings. Juice Sign can work with either of those two so that you can sign what you generate, and that's a a remote signing experience. So you can say, I need my salesperson and the accounting to sign off on a document. No problem at all. Then we have TextMy Quickbase, where you can add text messaging to a Quickbase app to send outbound messages. We have courier, which is I should reverse those in hindsight. But we have we have courier, which is another part of messaging where you can do more advanced emails. Quickbase already has a very rich notification system. This takes it a step further for even more customization. And And last but not least is is QB Map. So, a lot of capabilities here. One other thing I'll address up front is we are working on adding more to the bundle. I don't have an exact timeline yet, but we are hard at work. The next things up will most likely be more document tools. So just has a few other, tools in the tool belt, like the ability to merge documents together and make very large packages and overlay on the PDFs. And so those are some of the things that we're looking at now. And, again, too early to to, you know, commit to anything right now, but just kinda letting you all know where where our where our thought process is. We just had to start somewhere. These are where we believe we could get the most value to the most customers as quickly as possible. And so as we have spent Q1 getting kind of all the fun, not so fun operational stuff, up and running and kicking, now we can kind of turn our eyes onto adding more value to the bundles. So, Keith, I will let you take over and start going over some of these tools that you've worked so hard to build over the years, and I'll start watching the Q and A. Okay, great. Thanks, Harrison. So to take a little step further into each one of these add ons, we talked at a high level here, but some of the so well, let's take a look at ExactForms Plus, which is our flagship product. So the core features of it are we allow you to generate documents, PDFs, Word documents. You can you're basically taking data from multiple tables throughout your application, and you're kinda mashing it together and pushing it into an output document. Storing that document in file attachment fields in outside storage services like Amazon s three or Dropbox or Ignite. You can include barcodes in your documents. You can secure your documents. So everything document related, it it ExactFones Plus is really a critical add on for you. So the key benefits for it are really we don't you don't have to learn another, let's say, user interface or a content management system. You're using Word. It's a it's a standard it's easy to onboard somebody because you're just designing a template in in Microsoft Word. And so you're getting a consistent look and feel all the time. You're getting professional looking documents that are are really rich in content, because you're using Microsoft Word and all the capabilities of Word. And you can click a button and generate multiple documents. You don't have to just click 10 buttons to generate 10 documents. Click one button, generate 10 documents. Generate a 100 documents. So common use cases, obviously, you're generating invoices, contracts, quotes, proposals, license agreements, whatever document you can dream up, work, you know, work orders, purchase orders. Any document you need to generate from Quickbase can be done with the ExactForms Plus. And now when we switch over to Excel docs, very, similar to ExactForms Plus, but now you're talking about outputting Excel or CSV. Can also do PDF, with Excel docs. But the real core feature to that is you're using your own custom Excel file. So a lot of you a lot of people who come to Quickbase come from Excel, and they love Excel, and they're very good at Excel. So we don't we don't wanna say you you shouldn't be using Excel anymore. Excel really complements Quickbase. So you're managing all your data in Quickbase, but sometimes you need to get it out and you need to do some more customizations to it or visualize, things in a certain way. That's the the beauty and the strength of Excel docs. Again, it's using yours exact spreadsheet the way you wanna do it. And there's a lot of similarities to exact fonts plus consistency, professional looking documents, creating multiple documents at a time. And there's a lot of common use cases with ExactForms Plus and Excel docs. It just might be a preference. Maybe you like to export your your data into Excel. Maybe you like it in Word. But which one you use is really a personal preference. Then when we we move forward into our messaging add on, so you're taking Courier. Now you have these documents, and you might wanna send them out somewhere as attachments. So that's the beauty of Courier. Allows you to send these documents out as attachments, real attachments, not links in in embedded in the message. And you can send them to users of Quickbase or external users. They don't have to have a user account to receive an email from courier. You can change the reply to. So when someone receives that message, they hit reply to, it goes to somebody who it makes sense to go to. And the beauty here is that you're using your own mail server. We can connect directly to your mail server and send those out. So you don't have to worry anymore about having an email go out to your customers that says notify@quickbase.com or Keith Justice via quickbase. So it can come out right from your email server. And we we allow you to send out the emails in in a couple different ways. They can be triggered, meaning just like a sim an email notification in Quickbase. When something happens in Quickbase, send out a courier email. Maybe you wanna run it on demand. I have a report that has hundreds of of of records that I wanna send out a blast to, and I wanna do it right now. Click a button. It goes. Maybe you wanna take that same scenario, but you wanna schedule it. I don't wanna do it on demand. I don't wanna I I want it 06:00 tomorrow morning, I want this to be scheduled to run and send out a blast to three hundred people. That's one of the benefits of Couriers. Again, you can schedule these things. So moving on to actually, I'm gonna stick with messaging. So I have the same problem with Harris and that I didn't have them organized. Right? But text my Quickbase, another advanced communication add on. And it allows you to send text messages out of Quickbase, but also allows you to to ingest messages from text. So you can really capture a message right within your Quickbase application, the back and forth. The conversation can now be stored. You can send to a single text mess text phone number, I'm sorry, or multiple phone numbers. You can just click a button and it can go out to a series of people if you'd like to do that. Excuse me. You can send out images as well or links, and and you'll see that in some of the demos I'm gonna do. And, again, tracking a conversation, writing a Quickbase application so that everybody has access to it instead of just the parties involved in that personal communication, it's a real big benefit that that now you're getting out of Quickbase. Pace. Anyway, we use this to send out reminders or scheduling appointments or just, hey, alerting people because, obviously, everybody's everybody's mobile now. So so, you know, sometimes email is not always accessible by everybody, but mobile devices are. So we wanna be able to get that instant communication going. So I'm gonna go back to JuiceSign. So now we're generating documents, but sometimes you you need an electronic signature. And you don't wanna use a product like DocuSign or or SignNow or CongoSign or HelloSign, all these. You want a a a service that's built for Quickbase. That's what YouSign is. It's not an external service. It's actually embedded right in Quickbase, and you're gonna see that in the demo here. Everything is is is focused and controlled right within a Quickbase application. No longer have to log in to another portal to see the documents that were signed or to initiate them to be signed. So, you know, you can create legally binding signatures with this add on. We we do some some document verification to make sure that that that the that the document wasn't tampered with along the process, along the journey of recipient one, recipient two, and so on. Again, this was built specifically for Quickbase, so that's one of the the the biggest benefits from it. Doesn't have that big price tag as some of the bigger players in in electronic signature world. But, again, we're we're we're sending out documents for for contracts, signatures, quotes, proposals, license agreements, etcetera. So let's go to maps. And then last but not least, our QB maps add on. You have that location based data and you wanna visualize it, you wanna see it on a map, and you wanna be able to display maybe more than a 100 pins at a time. You wanna maybe maybe you wanna display 500 pins at a time. And you really wanna drill in and you wanna control the look and feel of the pin, the pin color, or the pin label. You can do that with our Google Maps integration. And you can you can grab data or locations from multiple tables. So it doesn't just have to be a single table. You can also isolate in on a target location. I wanna I want this to be my target, and I wanna see how many other locations are within five mile radius of that target location. You can do that with with our Kiwi Maps add on. As well as getting driving directions, you can select multiple locations that appear on that map and get a nice get a visual of if I wanted go from point a to b to c, how can I do that? And can I actually get driving directions if I select those those locations? So really that's the the the the core six add ons that we've been talking about here. And what I'd like to do now is is is let's actually see them in action. So I'm gonna jump over to my screen here. I'm going share. Allison, give me a thumbs up if you can see that. Alright. Just gonna do one thing. So right now, I have this application that is a it's just a sales application, and I use this a lot in in my demos just to kinda prove out that it it doesn't it doesn't really matter what type of application. You can have any type of application. This one happens to be a sales, but you can kinda visualize and and kind of imagine some of these add ons in your own applications. So let me I'm just trying to get my mobile phone up in here as well. Alright. Alright. So what I'm gonna first do is I'm gonna create a proposal. I'm gonna click on this new proposal, and I have some some data defaulted into this table for me here. So I don't wanna have to type this. So I'm gonna I'm gonna be a seller and a buyer. So I'm gonna I I I have two email addresses. I have one cell phone number. I'm gonna enter my cell phone number in here because I wanna be able to show you guys the actual text my Quickbase working. So so Keith, the seller, is gonna generate a proposal that Keith, the buyer, is gonna have to sign off on. So I'm gonna save this proposal record. And what we also have going on here is I'm gonna go back to that proposal record. We have a pipeline going on behind the scenes that's actually generating a bunch of line items because I wanna show a rich document that that we're that's generated with ExactForms Plus. But when those proposal items are generated, what we're also doing is behind the scenes, we just fired off Excel docs to create a PDF. The reason why I'm creating a PDF is I wanna merge it into my ExactFunds Plus document. But just by clicking that create proposal record, it generated 16 proposal line items with a pipeline. And then what we did was we updated the status to say draft. And when we did that, it fired off Excel docs to generate a PDF, and that PDF is stored right here. Let me open this up. So here's a PDF that was generated by Excel docs. And, basically, what we did was we we took that line item data, and we wanted to visualize it in a different way. So instead of just seeing it as as straight lines, we wanted to see it in maybe in maybe a tabular format. So we wanted to group it by quarters and group it by the by the product names. Then we also wanted to see a bar graph, and maybe we wanted to see a line chart. So this is just being able to take advantage of Excel to take that data in Quickbase and maybe, you know, aggregate it in different ways. Now I could've not created a PDF out of that. I could've just created an Excel document, and I'm gonna show you how to do that too. So we did this automatically by triggering it to run, but I can also click a button. And I wanted to show you this because I'm gonna generate an actual Excel document, which looks just like that one. So now I I showed you how we created the PDF behind the scenes, but this is the actual Excel document that looks just like that one. So, again, it's your your preference whether you wanna use one or the other, but it looks exactly like the PDF does. But, obviously, I can't take this and push it into an exact forms plus document because it's not in the proper format. So that's why I created the PDF. I just kinda wanna show you that Excel docs does generate an Excel file. So once it's once that button is clicked, and I'm storing both of them here just for reference, I'm gonna scroll down now. So I have my data on my proposal record. I have my proposal line items. I have my Excel document that was generated as a PDF. Now I wanna generate a proposal that I wanna send out to my customer for signature. So this is using the ExactForms Plus. I click that button. It grabs a template from my template table. So this is not this is a real quick base table. It's not kinda behind the scenes as, like, a property of a table. It's an actual table. And it has a Word document as a template. And what it did was it gathered some data from the proposal record. I'm gonna just zoom in a little bit here. I I highlighted it and read the data that were popping into the the template. And then, obviously, when you scroll down a little bit, you can see the richness of this. It has headers, has footers, it has a nice custom design. I can scroll down, and now I see my proposed line item data. So before, you saw it just as a listing, but now we have it as we have it grouped by quarter. We have subtotals going on here, and I can colorize the subtotal row. And then I also have a total, and I can also colorize that total row. Maybe this isn't color scheme that you guys would want, but you have full control over that using our configurated tool. So now you have some signature spots here too. We're gonna when we when we send this out for Juice, we're gonna see how those can get put come into play. But also that PDF that was generated by the Excel docs, it got appended right to the bottom of this. So I didn't have to generate it in a separate way. I just clicked the button with exact forms plus, and it grabbed that file from the file task field and put it right to the bottom of the generated document. So now me as the salesperson, I wanna send that out to my customer. So I don't wanna send it for signature yet because the customer hasn't reviewed it. They they might have some questions about it. Maybe they're gonna go back and forth with me a little bit. But let's go use courier to send that out. So here's courier. I'm gonna click this button. It's gonna update this field, and it's gonna send out an email to the email address, which was my buyer's email address, which is right here. And I have my email up here. So let's go and send that out through Courier. So click this button. So it's triggering courier to take that file and take the message that we we put in our courier configurator, which helps you build out the message, and it's gonna send that out. Let's just scroll down here and see that we have. Let's just refresh again. Okay. So the courier message was sent, and we update the date and time it was sent. And, also, we logged that that we sent that email. This is another thing that we get a question about a lot is is on email on notifications in general. How do I know it went out? How can I track when it went out? This is one way with Curio. We you can add an activities table right in your application, and you can store that right there. So now we know that that went out, the date and time it went out, but we can actually see more about it. So who who was it sent to? Who was copied on it? What was the subject? What was the body? And what was the file that went out as well? So that's all stored within your Quickbase. So now let's go to my email. Let's take a look at it. There it is. I actually, this is I had Matthew on our team. I had his email address as as a sender because I wanted to show you how we can send it out from somebody else, and it's coming right from matthew@juicetech.com. So it's not coming out from Notify or Matthew via Quickbase. So let's take a look at that email. So here it is. It it has a custom message in it with links in it. You can you can make this a very rich, email message body if you'd like, but it also has that PDF attachment. So me as the customer, I'm gonna review this, and I'm gonna go back to Keith and Matthew and say, yeah. You know what? I'm good with this. Why don't you send send it to me for a real signature, and let's move forward with this project? So let's close that out. Let's go back into Quickbase. So now I'm gonna scroll down a bit and I'm gonna go to my juice sign section. I'm gonna close my courier section here. So here's a button called send to juice sign. So when I click this button, what's gonna happen is it gives you a little confirmation page because because it's basically summarizing what's gonna happen. Keith, the seller, is gonna sign in a captive way, and I'm gonna explain what that is. And Keith, the buyer, is gonna get an email to sign. This is the file that we're gonna send. And here's some other parameters that we we're gonna send reminders because Juiceign can do that as well. So if the customer hasn't finished the signing process, we can remind them that, hey. You need to sign on this, and we can we can control the message that goes out. And we can also expire it. If we only want valid for thirty days, we can do that right through these parameters here. So if everything looks good here and I do wanna send that out, I'm gonna click send. Did you sign? And remember, cap the recipient here. The first person is me, the seller. I don't wanna wait for an email to get it. I wanna sign it right here. I don't wanna go back to my email to do it. So I wanna sign it almost in Quickbase. So the other thing here is when you click on this so you the customer can or me as a as a signer, can review the terms and conditions, but it's my company, so I don't necessarily have to do that. But I have to do this anyway because that's how a legally binding signature works. I'm gonna check the box. But also, what I wanna do is before I even go down that far, I'm gonna come over here. I'm gonna refresh the screens because you're gonna see that we're tracking stuff in real time in Quickbase. So as I scroll down here into my juice sign section, I see that there's recipients involved, my two email addresses. And just by me clicking that button here, it changed the status from from delivered to open. And I'm gonna show you that again when I send out the next one. So now I can track exactly what's happening in the process. So and and we we created what we call an agreement, which is equivalent to a DocuSign envelope, and and we're tracking that at a higher level, but this is the recipients that are involved. So let's go through this. And what I also wanna show you is we're gonna capture some information in this signing process as well. So I agree to the terms. I'm gonna click continue. Again, I'm the salesperson in this process. I can blow this up if I'd like as well to see it. I can click start. It's gonna take me right to where I need to sign. I can choose a signature or I can draw a signature. I'm just gonna choose one. Let's choose the first one. I'm gonna type in my title. You know what? I'll be sales today, and I'm gonna initial. Remember I typed sales in here because we're gonna bring that back to Quickbase. But, there's that PDF that we use with that we created with Excel docs. So everything looks good here. As a salesperson, I'm good. I'm sending this out. Once I click send, this custom this is a page that it's landing page when the process is complete. You can have full control over this. You can land them on your website if you'd like or customize your own page. I'm gonna close this, and I'm gonna come back into my quick base refresh. And we should see that my signing process is done, completed, and here's when I when I completed it and so on. And now this was sent to my Gmail, and it's set as delivered. Let's go to my Gmail. Let's see if it landed there. Okay. So there's the email. So now I got an email a signature request from Juice Sign. I'm gonna review it. Click to review. And, again, you can you can brand this yourself so you can have your own logo in here that'll come right in that spot there. You can customize the subject as well as the message. And then you can click the customer, me being the buyer now, I'm gonna review this myself. Now when I remember before when I I'm gonna pull this out here when I go back to Quickbase. The status is delivered. But once I check this box, we have real time updates going on with between Jusign and Quickbase. So when I refresh the screen now, that status should show opened. There you go. So now the status shows open. So now I'm gonna re as a customer, I do wanna review the terms and conditions and make sure that I'm I I know what I'm signing, and I can have options here as well. So I can download the PDF. I can print it and sign it. I can decline the sign and enter a reason why I'm declining the sign in, or I can finish it later and come back in and click that email that that link in email again. But for this demo, I'm just gonna go through and and press on continue and blow this up a bit so you can see. So as the customer, I'm gonna review the proposal, make sure I like it. The pricing is good. I see my salesperson signed. I'm gonna sign myself. Let's choose a different signature. And I am the COO today, and I'm gonna click continue. Also, before I even finish that, I wanna show you remember the I entered the sales as the title? I scroll all the way back up. There's sales. I didn't finish this process here for the sales per for the buyer, so but here's where the buyer's title is gonna land. So here's a way that you can actually grab data from the document and bring it back. So if you need a purchase order number or some type of other piece of data that the customer needs to share back with you, you can actually ingest data right from the signing process. So, again, I'm gonna close this out, come back into Quickbase. We should see that title change. There it is, COO. And, also, we should see some more updates to our statusing. So right now, the signature is is completed. And what we're also doing is we're we're running Exact Fonts Plus behind the scenes to generate what we're calling a certificate of agreement, which is really a summary of what took place as well as bringing back the signed document. So let's just see if it's here yet. Yes. It is. It's here. So it lands right in this file attachment field. So right now on this doc on this record, I have the original document that was sent out, and now I have the signed document. Let's take a look at that. So here it is. Blow it up a bit. I should see some signatures, which I do. I see the the rest of the document as well as an agreement certificate. This is a summary of what happened. Who was involved in the signing process? What IP address were they at when they signed off on this? We generated checksum for the document. This is part of our Tampa evident evidence process. Here's the the exact actually, what happened when it was delivered, when it was opened, when they clicked on that checkbox to to accept the terms, when they signed it, the signature, the initials, as well as the terms and the conditions that were in play when the document were was signed off on. So, again, if you have a change of your your your terms and conditions, we we capture a point in time version of that terms and conditions and share it right on the agreement certificate. So now if I refresh one more time, I also I'm trying to get my cell phone here to connect to this device because I remember when I entered that cell phone number at the very beginning, I also there we go. Cool. It's working now. Alright. So I'm gonna bring my cell phone over. K. So here, I got I got an email message sent. What I did was when the completed document came back, I wanted to send a text message to the salesperson and let them know, hey. The the the signing process is done. So we can also send out a message to the customer as well if we captured their cell phone number. But in this case, I captured the salesperson's number. But also, you know what? Let's say alright. Thanks and glad this one is done. And I'm I'm gonna spell stuff wrong on purpose because I just wanted to land see see that land back in Quickbase. So this is where we're gonna track the conversation in Quickbase. So I sent that message back to Quickbase. I'm gonna refresh my screen here. And as I scroll down, I should see the original message that went out, down on my texting section. There's the original message that went out that you saw, and then here is the message that was sent back. Let's see. I have spelling mistakes. So here's the way we're capturing the conversation, if you will, right right from Quickbase right inside of Quickbase using our TextMy Quickbase add on. And now we can kinda connected it with the other add ons. So so here was, like, kinda end to end generating documents, sending them out for review, sending them out for signature, and messaging our customers back and forth. So before so that that's our our demo for those five of the six add ons. So before I jump into the maps, I'm gonna pause here and see if there's anything that you guys wanna wanna question me on. Keith, there's a question. Are there is there a limit to how many sequential signatories can be applied to a single document? It's good. I don't know if we have a limit. Matt, do you know? I don't know if we have a limit. We we we I we I think we might have stopped it at ten just as, like, a base to have some type. of limit. Okay. And then, there's someone who was asking about dynamic email addresses. They they tested you to sign in the past, but because it was tied to a single email address, they weren't able to use it. Any feedback on that? Well, we Matthew, you're better at courier than I am. You wanna you wanna join in here? It was sorry. It was for it's for Jusana. Oh, Juiceign. Oh, Yes. with with Juiceign, you we allow you to have up to five users so you can set up five different users to send out the messages or the the agreements from. In this case, I have one set up there, but you have you can have a formula field that when you register, let's say, five users with us, the formula field can can be driven based on, let's say, the salesperson's name or the salesperson's drop down. We could say, if it's Matthew, then use Matthew's juice sign ID. Otherwise, use Keith's juice sign ID. So when the message goes out, in in this case, when I sent this one out let's go back here. It's coming from j s a underscore u s, but we can vary that based on the user. It's still gonna come out from juicesign.net, though, but we can con control what is the prefix and what is the the name here. Awesome. And then, Brian, can you select? Yeah. So quite just to confirm, the question is, can you select more than one person several at once that all get sent the same text message? And I think that answer is correct. Yes. We just set all. we have to do is separate them by a semicolon. We take a field that has a bunch of phone numbers separated by semicolon, and when you just click that button to send it out, it'll go out to all of those as individual text messages. Awesome. Alright. Let's keep rolling. Okay. Cool. So on on our maps, what I wanna do is I wanna show you how I'm gonna I'm gonna use text my Quickbase and maps for this demo. So I'm gonna click send. I wanna I wanna go I wanna understand what is the current location of a text of a field tech that I have out on location right now. So I'm gonna send out a message here. This is gonna be a text message. So by clicking on that button, it updated this little checkbox which fired off TextMyQuickbase to send out a message. So let's just see. Okay. So I just got that message. And really what I want want the person to do is in order to capture their location on the on the mobile device, they're gonna click on this preview. And what it's doing is it's jumping into a a quick base record, and it's doing an ad. So let's just add here. So let's just say test. And I just some other fields I have on this form, they really they really kind of irrelevant at this point. But really what I wanna do is when I hit save here, it has a record into Quickbase, and now it shows me a get current location. So when I click on this, it's shelling out to our Google Maps add on, which is really gonna capture that person's current location. So you can see that red target now. That is me because I'm sitting in my office here on on my phone. So that's my location here. So, also, if I go back into I'm just gonna shrink this a little bit so we can see them side by side. Where is my mobile? Okay. Let's open this up a little bit. If I go to my current locations, I now have my Keith test, and I have my latitude and longitude. If I go back to my quick base record, I can see now the lat and long show up there. But, also, go back in into that that map. If I'm the the person let's say, here's some job location. So I pulled some data from my my additional locations, which are all hotels on Long Island. Right? So maybe this guy, he's in the field, and he's gotta service a a specific location. And maybe he's on his way home. It's 03:00 in the afternoon, and he wants to figure out, alright. That's my last stop. I'm gonna go grab that one because it's a job that needs to be fulfilled. It's on my list to do. I'm gonna go grab that one. So then one of the what what first thing that the person can do is they can on their mobile phone, as you can see here, I can go and try to get directions to that location. And maybe I'm gonna do enable select, and I'm going to close that. And I'm gonna just zoom in a little bit here. I'm gonna when I enabled select, I got this little marker here. I'm just drawing a little window around the locations that I'm interested in, and now I'm going to click. I wanna start where I am, current location, and I wanna go to that hotel. Hold on. Just on this mobile device. There we go. Danforth. So now I'm going to get directions. So now it's just giving me directions from between point a and point b, and that's great. Maybe maybe that looks good from from this standpoint, but wanna I see real live traffic information. So I'm gonna open this right in Google Maps. So now now I know, alright, at this point in time during the day, it's gonna take me forty minutes to service that loop just to get to that location to service it. So here's here's a way that you can kinda interact with this map on the mobile device. And all I do is try to send out a message to that that that user to grab his current location, and then he was able to pick a job, an available job that he wanna take care of before he hits hits home. So that's one way of of of using our Google Maps integration. Now another way, I'm moving that out of the way, is I'm gonna go to our Google Maps. And I wanna as as the person in the office, I wanna actually see more information. I'm not I'm not so focusing on that one tech in the field. I wanna see the other techs in the field. I wanna see other locations around those techs as well. So I have a couple different technicians that are out in the field, and you can see that they are highlighted. There there's Todd right now. I'm gonna zoom out. Again, I can zoom in and zoom out. And, you know, who's over here? Maybe that's Chris. Yep. There's Chris. And you so you can control the color of the pin. You can control the letter of the pin. You can also control what appears inside of these pins. But here, I have data coming from multiple tables. So this is from my current locations table, these guys. And all of the greens, they are my, let's say, job locations. In this case, it happened to be hotels. And maybe I wanna click on this one and say, okay. That's Stanford's hotel. And, that's two that's the estimate for this job is two two hours. So that's another thing that you can do. You can pop in data from the Quickbase record and right into these these fields here, and you can customize what appears there. And then you can also click to view so you can go right in and take a look at that record in Quickbase and maybe reassign it to somebody or or change something on it. And and, really, that's the the power of of of our Google Maps integration is you can go back and forth, right, within your map and back to to the to the open the open map and your Quickbase application. So that's that's the last add on in the bunch. So that's all six, and happy to answer any questions. Think there's no new ones right now. I'll give everyone a few minutes. Perfect. Yeah. Thank you, Keith, for the demo, and Keith and Harrison for walking us through the entire extensions package. Yeah. Keep the questions coming in. I know Matthew was answering some directly, but, well, you know, keep keep asking away. We've got about ten minutes here before we wrap up. Prior to that, I'm gonna share a couple resources. Keith, if you can stop sharing the demo, and I'll throw all these up on the screen. Thank you. Let's see. Alright. First and foremost, a few reminders. We did get a couple questions in the chat about the recording of this webinar. Yes. We did record this session. We're still recording it for q and a. We will send that out to your email tomorrow, so be on the lookout for that if you need to, again, rewatch any portions of it, share with any of your team members, anything like that. I mentioned at the beginning of the hour, we're also giving away a free pass to empower to one randomly selected attendee of this webinar. We will be selecting that this afternoon. We'll reach out to you via email if you were the winner. And then, again, in that follow-up email tomorrow with the recording, we will announce to all of you who the winner was. So, but if you have not heard about Empower, it is this May in Houston. The info here is on the screen with a QR code to learn more and register. You know, Keith and Harrison just walked through extensions. There's gonna be a lot of content around extensions, around some exciting new product launches that we've got. I'm super excited for the team to be able to share everything they've been working on with all of you to enhance your quick base and fast field experience. So, you know, don't miss out on Empower being the first ones to see all of those new features live and in person, get one on one training and assistance, all of that good stuff. So hope to see you guys there. And, again, we will let you all know who the winner of that, Empower pass was from today. And then finally, we have launched a few resources in the last week here, specifically to support Quickbase extensions even further. So, the top right of the screen, you will see we now have an extensions trial. So this is applicable to, all Quickbase customers. You are able to try the Quickbase extensions package for free for thirty days. It does include all six of those extensions and up to 250 transactions during that trial period. So great way to test them out, get familiar with them, all of that good stuff. Definitely be sure to start that trial if you have not yet. Then the bottom half of the screen, we have, office hours. I know many of you have attended our daily office hours with Sam who is, you know, the the king of office hours here at Base. But we have now branched off, and we have a weekly office hours specifically around Quickbase extensions that Matthew is meeting who was answering some of our questions on this webinar. So we're excited about that. Again, if you guys have questions as you're getting started with your Quickbase extensions package, as you're doing the trial of Quickbase extensions, if you are a legacy Juiced customer and need some assistance with any of those Juiced add ons, please come to office hours. Matthew would love to answer your questions, help you out with any issues. Again, those are weekly, 12PM to 1PM eastern. So scan that QR code, and you can register for those from that page. So with that, some questions, again, feel free to keep submitting them. I know Harrison and Keith answered a few earlier, and, again, Matthew was able to answer some real time, which is great. Harrison, this is probably a question for you around the trial that just came in. Does the extensions trial work for builder accounts? I have to check. I don't remember. I think it should. The thing is you need it it's right now managed through the account team. We haven't exposed it in product, and so, I'm not sure. We'd have to check. I if you have a, to the person who asked if you have a Quickbase account, like a paid account with someone, with an account team, reach out to them. If not, and and you're just exploring the Builder account, which we certainly appreciate, you could open a support ticket, and and they can check. I don't remember offhand. I think so. Got it. We will make sure to follow-up directly on that question. Thank you, Harrison. Question here about, I believe, about TextMy Quickbase. Can you select more than one person or several at once to be sent the same text message? Yeah. Yes. Sorry. I think we hit that one. I just don't I think I have the thing open still. I don't think I hit answer. Yes. We just separate all the phone numbers by a semicolon in a in a Perfect. you have a formula field that can gather them, Amazing. put them together. Thank you. There's a couple questions in here that Matthew has actually answered directly, but I do wanna address them live since a few people ask questions about them. So does Courier connect to Outlook and other mail services, and how does that kind of integration or flow work? If you can speak a little bit more. to that. So maybe, Keith, if you could do a quick overview of Couriers Connectivity, and then maybe Matt, if you could drop any of those help articles in the chat just so folks have some of the details because I know it's bit technical. But maybe, Keith, you could just do a quick thirty second overview. Yeah. So we can connect to Office Office three sixty five accounts. We as well as Google business accounts. We use tokens to connect to that mail server so that we can send out the messages from that mail server. So we don't need ID and password. And yet, in the past, we needed that. We don't do that anymore. We use we use tokenization to do that. So there on our help site, we do have some information about that. I think Matthew's trying to grab that, Yeah. but it kinda shows. you a little bit about that. Was he able to drop that in? Yep. Okay. Cool. Awesome. Perfect. Yes. So check out that link that Matthew dropped in the chat on that one. Let's see here. Harrison, with the kind of pricing and packaging that you went through at the top of the hour, People are curious. The number of transactions in that bundle, is that monthly per year? What does that look like? Yeah. So they're yearly bundles. There are soft limits, just like, all the limits in Quickbase. So, if you have the know, if you have 25,000, we're not going to cut you off with 25,001. We're going to have a conversation and see what makes the most sense. Perfect. Thank you very much. Let's see what else we've got. Again, feel free to add anything in that you've got for questions still. Let's see. Harrison, can you I know you, again, addressed this top of the hour, but I think a couple of people joined late. Can you just quick address, Juiced legacy customers super fast for us again? Yeah. So if you have an account, with Juice previously, reach out to your account team. We wanna look at specifically kinda what your pricing was and, you know, what extensions you had access to and find the best way to work with you. There's just there's not a one size fits all answer there. So, yeah, reach out to your account team. We wanted to make the future looking pricing as simple as possible for the most people, but we recognize that many customers have, of course, legacy Juice contracts, and so we want to do our best to honor those while also finding the best way to get you what we have access to. So your account teams have all have necessary resources to talk through that. Perfect. Alright. We've got a couple minutes left. I'm not seeing any questions that we have not answered live or that Matthew was not able to answer directly in the chat. You know, give people a few more seconds here in case there is any last stuff. But, Harrison, Keith, any any final thoughts or anything you wanna address that maybe Matthew addressed in the background before we kinda wrap things up here? One new question from Sean. Will PDF merger be added to the extensions pack? Yeah. So I I I'll kinda reiterate what I said at the beginning. Someday soon maybe is a you know, has a different a different meaning to everyone, but the document create the document tools are next up as far as the ones that we're looking at, so keep an eye out for those. And PDF merger is likely part of that. So can't quite give you a date yet, but we're working on it. Awesome. Thanks, Harrison. Alright. I think that'll do it for today then. Harrison, Keith, appreciate you guys walking through the extensions. Thank you everyone for joining us. Again, a reminder, definitely try out extensions with that free thirty day trial that's on the screen as well as check out office hours with Matthew if you have questions or need help getting anything set up. I'm happy to, you know, happy to walk through all of that with you guys on that weekly session. And then, of course, hope to see many of you in at Empower in May in Houston. Looking forward to that. And, yeah, be on the lookout tomorrow for email from us with the recording, some additional resources around quick based extensions, and, again, announcing the winner of the free Empower pass. And if you guys do have any questions that come up after this webinar, please reach out to your account team, and they will be happy to help on anything anything extensions related or anything Quickbase, Fastfield related in general. So with that, we'll wrap things up. Thanks again, Harrison and Keith. Thanks everyone for joining us, and have a great rest of your day. Thank you.
