Transcript for "From Juiced Technologies to Quickbase Extensions: Taking Juiced Add-Ons to the Next Level":
Hi, everyone. Welcome to today's webinar. We are super excited to share Quickbase extensions with you all kind of for the first time publicly since Quickbase acquired Juice Technologies. So a ton of people are still dialing in, getting connected to audio, all of that type of stuff, but we are going to get started for the sake of time. We've got a lot to cover today. Super excited, to have all of you here seeing, the demo of Quickbase extension. So I see a ton of you dropping in the chat where you are joining us from. Love to see people joining us from all over the place. I see a handful of fellow Minnesotans in the chat. I am myself in frigid Minnesota up here. So before we dive in and I turn this over to our product experts, just a couple of housekeeping items for the webinar today. One, we are recording this session. So if you need to leave early or send this on to a coworker or just revisit the content, that recording will be made available usually around twenty four hours after this event ends. We will distribute that via email, so be on the lookout tomorrow for an email containing that recording, the slide deck from the presentation, and some other resources around Quickbase extensions. Of course, we are really guiding this conversation, talking about our extensions packages and showing you some demos of the extensions, but we do wanna make sure that this presentation is interactive and that we answer any questions that you all have as well. So, again, a ton of you are dropping in the chat, which is great. There's also a q and a box that you should see in that same chat area. Feel free to submit your questions anytime throughout the presentation here today. We will leave some time at the end to answer questions. We will get to as many as we can. If we do not get to your question live on the presentation today, we will make sure that someone follows up with you directly to get that question answered. But again, submit those questions at any time, and we will have some time, at the end to get through as many of those as we can. Alright. With all of that, I am going to bring on our speakers for today, our, product experts here who are going to be leading the presentation. So we have, Harrison Hirsch and Keith Juices with us today, and I'm gonna turn it over to those two to introduce themselves and take it from here. Hey, everyone. Harrison Hirsch, Senior Director of Product Management. So I was very involved in our acquisition of Juiced. I probably know many of you. And I've got Keith here with me. Hi, everyone. Thanks for joining us today. Keith Justice, former CEO of Juice Technologies, now a product adviser for Quickbase Extensions, and looking forward to to sharing more information today about our extensions. All right. So, today, we're gonna do a couple of things. Keith will give an overview of of Juiced and kind of why the company was founded and what they've been up to. Many of you know the know know Juiced and know the the employees and use the the Juiced extension, so we're happy to make that part of the family. I'll give a brief overview of kind of how we thought about the acquisition and why it's here. We'll go over what the individual extensions are that we're offering, and then, Keith will go over a demo, and we'll do some q and a. Keith, Okay. maybe just give us a quick overview of Juice and the history. Sure. So so just a little history of My brother Todd and I founded Juiced in 2005. We didn't really take it serious until about 2007. We were transitioning from a previous acquisition with another brother of ours, believe it or not. But we we were axe Microsoft Access developers back in the nineties, and and it was a really easy transition to Quickbase back then. These products were very similar, but but with the added benefit Quickbase offered was cloud based hosting, no hardware required, so no server hosting that we needed to worry about. And we we were able to build very collaborative apps. So so back then in in around 2007, we started building and maintaining apps for Quickbase customers. And and we we we heard a common theme from our customers that, hey. They loved Quickbase. Quickbase was exactly the platform for them, but they wanted more from it. And and they were looking for for us to help them get more out of it. So so we had clients that wanted to store larger files greater than 75 megabyte file attachment field. They wanted to store files outside of Quickbase. And and one funny thing, a customer we had was JibJab. I'm not sure if you know who they are, but they were storing you know, they're they're like a parody digital video company, and they were storing they wanna store files that were greater than 500 megabytes. Back then, that was a huge file file size. So that's where we came up with our first ad on which was Amazon s three basic to help customers get through that some of those some some of those roadblocks they run into. But then they wanted more, so customers kept saying, hey. The the the the s three is great, but I wanna generate documents. I wanna generate Word documents, PDF documents, Excel documents. I wanna take those files, email them out as file attachments. I wanna sign documents in a cost effective and efficient way. And then then I wanna have visibility of my location data on a map. And and another great example of that is in 2008, hurricane I kinda devastated Galveston, Texas as well as many other places. And we had a company called Pennco Construction where they were managing job locations for for helping rebuild the Galveston area. And they were managing those locations in Quickbase, and they wanted real visibility into those locations. So they wanted to see where all those job sites were. So that's when when we came up with our QB Maps add on. So so we, as a as a company, Todd and I, we changed our focus to become really an add on provider or now an extensions provider, if you will. So we really switched from building apps and maintaining apps. We still did it, but but our goal was really to build add ons that were simple to deploy in any app, whether it was a good, bad good or bad design, didn't matter. Quick, easy installation, hours, not weeks. And and we really transitioned Juiced into a SaaS business instead of a software development company, a traditional software development company. So while we were building Juice, we were always thinking about the future. You know, obviously, Todd and I are getting older. We were getting older. I'm still getting older. And and we really thought, what was gonna happen to Juice? What's gonna happen to our add ons? What's gonna happen our employees? Like, we really need we were trying to focus on securing the future for all of those, for all of the above. Our adult kids weren't interested in taking over Juiced, so we really needed to find the right home for Juiced. The most logical home was quick based. And and we've we had discussions with past leadership teams over the years. They never went very far. They showed interest, but didn't really knew how to take it forward. And then in New Orleans in last year at Empower twenty twenty five, I met with Ed Jennings, and he showed a lot of interest as well. And and and it was just kinda perfect timing because they recently created an M and A team that was headed up by Matt that is headed up by Matt Pearson, connected us together in June, and it didn't take long before Matt really understood it. And it it didn't take long to convince him the value of Juice and really why it made sense for us to be a part of it. So we went through the diligence negotiation over the next few months. And as of 11/28/2025, Juice became official part of the Quickbase family. And and just to just to, before Harrison jumps in here, just a few more thoughts. No regrets. For the past few months, this is the right decision. Todd and I are totally on board. We think this is this was a great decision. Right home for Juiced, and we're excited to see where Quickbase takes our base extensions next. Yeah. I appreciate the the overview and the history, Keith. So, you know, when we looked at we're always looking at what are the different investments that we can make that add value to the most, you know, to the to the most, with the widest customer base. And and so that is something that we thought that Juice fit in really well. We look at what are the areas that we're investing in directly in the product versus what are kind of things like extensions or add ons that that can be, you know, bolted on in a really seamless way to to add to add value for all of you, and and that's how we were able to make this work. And so general, you know, thesis here and what what we wanted to do is help make help bring these Quickbase extensions to to your realm and where we started. I'll I'll go through those extensions in a minute. But, you know, think about a world where communication, document generation, esignature are all happening seamlessly, and they're all under one roof. Right? So we're gonna start with these six extensions that I'll show you in a second if you haven't heard of which ones they are. And we're making them easy to access. Right? We're making them part of the your your Quickbase plan. We've enabled single sign on. We'll continue, simplifying that. And, of course, we're we're backing it. You know, we're we're we're backing it with Quickbase. So let's, dive in, to extensions. Alright. So what I want everyone to think about is different problems that we know many of you have there are you know, have as you're kind of, building workflows in Quickbase. Think about critical communication that occurs outside of your application, follow ups, slipping. We have courier and text my Quickbase now under the under the Quickbase umbrella that can automate SMS and emails, keeping communication organized and accurate. Key outputs that are, really sophisticated and custom branded. So think about, assembling documents using both Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. And so we have exact forms plus and Excel docs generating polished documents in bulk automatically. Approvals and signatures that are requiring manual work, maybe you use other esignature providers. We're bringing Juice Sign into the into the fold so that you can get legally binding signatures in Quickbase. And last but not least is we know there's a lot of location based work that happens out, out with all of you in the back office as you're looking to plan to plan routes or site visits. And so we have QB maps that extends the capabilities of your Quickbase app to help you plot different to plot where your resources are. And we wanna make this as simple as possible. So what there's basically three independent bundles that you can that you can get. We have extensions core, pro, and enterprise. You get all of those six extensions that I just mentioned, and we'll go through those in a little bit more depth in a second with each of those. And it's a shared set of a shared set of transactions. So the the plans are available on on they start on business, and then based on the quantity, it's on business and enterprise. And, again, this is to to get everyone focused on use cases and solving problems. We really wanted to avoid people needing to think at a really granular level of, you know, am I generating one document with too many pages, or am I how many texts am I sending today? So we wanted to make those ranges kind of nice and wide for everyone so that you were able to focus on value. And we will get not quite ready yet, but we will get this service and platform analytics so you all can kind of see what that activity looks like and and obviously keep track. And these are all soft limits, just like most things in Quickbase. So if you exceed those, it's conversation with your seller. Your business process doesn't stop. So gonna go into these in a little bit more detail, but you'll see the six extensions right here, ExactForms Plus, Excel docs, which are all around all around documents. And oh, I apologize if I didn't say that. Yeah. So it's it's transactions per year. Thank you for that comment, Mark. So if you look at the, the the extensions that are here, Exact Forms Plus, Excel Docs, Juice Sign to, work on top of those, You can do texting. You can do mapping, and you can do email. So Keith's gonna go through these one by one. I know we have a captive audience that wants to, you know, probably hear some details. So Keith's gonna go eat through each of these extensions, talk about the features, and then, we'll show you a demo. Thanks, Harrison. Just to I I see there's some comments here about my mic. Is this better now? sound okay to me. Okay. Because there's a some people were saying I I I tweaked something, so hopefully that that works. So just to take a a deeper dive into the the six add ons that are part of the bundle. So ExactForms Plus, obviously, that's our our flagship product, and it helps us the the key the core features of ExactForms Plus, you can generate PDF documents, Word documents. You can create multiple record documents. So so click a button, generate multiple records multiple documents, I'm sorry, for multiple records that you want to generate documents for. You obviously take in data from your Quickbase application and kinda merging that into the document. And you can actually create secure documents as well so you can password protect those if you want. You could do watermarks. You can include barcodes in your documents, QR codes, and you can save your documents outside of Quickbase. You can save them in file attachment fields without pipelines and so on. And you can also save them to other repositories without using pipelines. So it's a native function of ExactForms Plus to save it to s three, Dropbox, and into a product called Ignite as well. So so, again, the the key benefits there is is we're creating professional looking documents, and we're leveraging Word. So so your template builder is Microsoft Word. So in other words, learn another UI to try to build out your document. You're using an industry standard Microsoft Word and you're taking advantage of all of the functionality that Word has to offer. So you get consistency, you get a quick development effort on your template building, and you're really getting rich results. So you're getting professional polished documents as output. And again, you can generate multiple documents with a single button click or a single transaction. It's just some of the common documents, they're listed there. But really, it's any type of document that you need to generate, ExactOncePlus can pretty much handle. Let's go to the next slide here. So then we have Excel Docs, another document generation add on. So the difference, it's very similar to ExactForms Plus, but the difference here is it can actually create output PDFs as well as Excel Docs as well as CSV files. So you can create your own custom Excel template. So everybody loves Excel, right? And you're comfortable with Excel and you have these very sophisticated custom Excel files that you have that you wanna take data from Quickbase from multiple tables within Quickbase and send it down to that template, if you will. And you wanna then see those graphs and charts and pivot tables. You wanna see them light up and come to life once you pump that data down into those files. That's really the the power of Excel docs. So you so you get that that comfort feel of Excel, and you get to create multiple documents in multiple tabs. Like, if if you wanted if you had a project that had 10 invoices you needed to create, you can create by clicking one button, 10 invoices. Each one can be in a different sheet within that Excel file if you want, or they can be individual files, however you want. So so it is a very it's very flexible. So, again, you you get to some key benefits there. It's your format. It's your spreadsheet. So however you wanna generate it, you can. It can handle macros as well. If you have macros embedded in those Excel files, you can use those after you hit data down there from Quickbase. And you're taking a very complex spreadsheets and and basically making them part of the Euclipse instance and part of the Euclipse application as well as generating multiple. Again, common documents generated there. You can see that list. But, again, whatever you can dream up, you you can create. So then Curry, one of our messaging add ons. So we had customers that that really wanted to send out emails and attach documents, and and they want emails coming out from an email address that says notify quickbase dot com or Keith Justice at or Keith Justice via Quickbase. They want it to come out from their their own email server. So that's what one thing that Curia does is it can connect to your email server and send out those emails directly from you, Minimizes spam and actually the presence now. It gives you a more authentic presence. You can attach files, single files, multiple files, static files, dynamic files. You can customize the message body to include some embedded tables and control the output, the format of that. You can change the reply to. So when someone does hit the reply, you can change that and you can use the two of the CC and BCC multiple email addresses in there. And another thing a lot of people ask about is how do I log the email activities? I I had all these emails coming out of my Quickbase application, but how do I know that they went out and and where's the history of it so we can log that as well? So again, you can use your own mail server. It's very simple. We from our cloud, you can set up the configurations. That's what we call them. And and there's a there's a drag and drop interface so you can drag and drop some of your fields into the message body. So and and there's delivery options, so really execution options. It can be triggered by something happened in Quickbase. It can be sent on demand. You click a button and it'll send out based on a report a bunch of emails to a bunch of different email addresses that are in maybe a contacts table or in your projects table. And they can be scheduled to run daily, weekly, monthly based on reports. So that's our messaging ad on courier. And then our Juice Signs, so we built a legally binding esignature solution directly for Quickbase. It's right in Quickbase. And some of the core features is it helps you track the whole signing process right within your Quickbase application. We use the best security that's out there. We do two fifty six bit encryption as well as we give you the ability to build access codes into some of your agreements that go out. And we actually call our transactions agreements, DocuSign, which is the well known e signature tool of fate. They used the word envelope. So just to give you some comparison, we use agreements, they use envelopes. I think they started using agreements too. Maybe they copied that from us. But, again, you can automatically send out agreements to be sent by one signer, multiple signers, in specific order. And it really does simplify that process. But the big key benefit there is everything is done in Quickbase. We designed YouSign for Quickbase. So you don't have to go out to DocuSign. You don't have to go out to Adobe Sign or HelloSign or whatever signature tool you were using. Everything is right baked within Quickbase. And the whole matter, you can manage that process right in Quickbase. And, again, we're we're creating legally legally bound signature solutions here. Again, common use cases, nondisclosures, you know, quotes, proposals, any anything that you really need to finish up for, you can use for it. And then TextMyQuickbase. So here's another messaging add on. So if you wanna be able to send out text messages right from your Quickbase application, you can use our TextMyQuickbase app. And it can actually track the whole conversation. So you can send out a message, and they and the the user or recipient can reply back. You can log all of that right in your Quickbase application. You can send out text by something happening at Quickbase. Let's say a record is added or modified and you wanna send out a text message, you can do that. As well as you can send it on a scheduled basis, almost like courier. You can send out on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to in bulk into a bunch of records. And again, you can query data if you wanted to. There's some advanced features where you can send in a keyword. We can actually query the data and send data back. But most of our customers are just using efficient way communication. You And can also send send images as well, right, and you can write in your in those messages collab with customers. So, again, key benefits, inbound, outbound texting. You can you you can send it by via reminder, via trigger, an an update happening in your application. And, again, you can track that conversation right in And last but certainly not least, our QB Maps add on, which helps you really visualize that location based data in your Quickbase application. You you have the ability to customize the pins, you can colorize them, you can change the letter or number of the pin, you can control what data appears in that pin. So when you click on a pin in a Google Map, you can control what fields from your Quickbase table needs to appear or that you want to appear in that pin. You can grab data from multiple tables, it doesn't just have to come from your client's table. You can come from client's table and maybe your locations table, and you can bring them together so you can bring multiple locations together in a single map from multiple tables. You can do radius so you can have one target location and you wanna say, hey, What are all the other locations within a five, ten, 50 mile radius of the location that's my target? And you can visualize that right on your map. So, again, your key benefits, you can easily map locations from multiple tables within your Quickbase application, customize those pushpins, and again, do the radius features. So one one thing before I jump into the demos here, one of the important things to think about is these add ons, they work together, and I'm gonna show you that in in this demo. So the reason why we bundle these together as well is because they they really serve a purpose, and and they they kind of satisfy workflows. And and very, very strict custom workflows you can kind of handle using these six add ons, and I'm gonna show you that right within our demos. So if you if you're okay with that, I'm gonna jump into the demo side of this. Alright. Charlie, just so I don't see the screen available for me to click. Do I have to stop sharing and then do that? Oh, now I got it. Cool. Now I got it. Sorry about that. The entire screen. Okay. So here's my Quickbase application that I'm gonna demo these six add ons in. So this is just a sales proposal management application, the first thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna create a new proposal. And then and just to simplify things, I don't have a lot of fields out here because I wanna, like, I wanna cut out the noise. So, basically, what other thing too is in a sales proposal, obviously, you have a seller and a buyer. So I'm gonna act as both of those. Just so just to make this simple. So I'm I'm wearing two hats here. So I'm gonna be the seller or the sales rep, and I'm also and I'm sending it to my Quickbase email, and I'm also gonna be the customer or the buyer. And I'm also gonna enter my cell phone number in here just because we're gonna use that through for our text, my Quickbase add on. So here, I just I just set a quick proposal up. I I set my buyer. I set my my customer, and I'm just gonna go to that proposal record. Okay. So here's my proposal record that I just created. And what I also did for simplicity is I had a pipeline behind the scenes to go to generate a bunch of of proposal line items. I didn't wanna enter those one by one. So you can see we ended about, I don't know, 10 or so proposal line items. But also behind the scenes now, we fired off Excel Docs. And the reason why we did that is we wanted Excel Docs to generate a PDF document that we're gonna use within our ExactForms Plus document as well. So so the cool thing here is I did an ad record, and I triggered Excel docs to generate a PDF. And it's basically gonna pull in these line items and basically create a nice graph, a bar chart, and so on from that data that's my my table here. So I'm gonna pull that chart up. So here's a here's a PDF. I'll zoom in a little bit. So it took those proposal line items, and it created a summary out of it. And it created a a nice bar chart, and it created a nice line chart. And it created it in a PDF format because I wanna use that in in ExactForms Plus as well. But just to to take a step back here, that was our batch process kicking that off. But you don't have to execute it like that. You can use a button click to execute Excel docs, and I'm gonna do that here. And I'm gonna actually create it in an Excel format as well. So you're gonna click that button. It's opening up Excel docs. It just created an Excel file. It's opening up on my other screen. I'm gonna pull that over. Okay. So here is that same PDF, if you will, but this is the actual Excel version of it. So, again, you you know, we have we have our pivot tables. We have our charts, and we and and, basically, Excel docs was able to take that data that we pushed down and and kind of make these these charts and graphs come alive. So I'm not gonna save that. I'm gonna close that here. But now what I wanna do is I wanna generate a proposal in using ExactForms Plus that I wanna actually send out to my customers for review. So, basically, I'm gonna come down here, and here's my button for ExactForms Plus. So I'm gonna click generate proposal. So it's gonna create, like, a professional looking document that's gonna be for a construction company, a made up construction company, obviously. So it's generating a document, and it's actually gonna take that PDF that Excel Docs created and merge it at the end. I'm gonna blow this up a little bit here, expand this. So here's my document. It has some data coming in from Quickbase. It it it has some constant some static data as well. It's actually taking those proposal line items, and it's kind of formatting them in a nice format so that it looks professional and everything everything is exactly the way I want it to represent my business. I have some signature line items here, some other information that we're gonna bring show you when we when we send this to JuiceSign. But look. Here's that PDF file that we generated with Excel docs. So here, we're taking a PDF from another file attachment field, generating a document, and bringing it right into ExactForms Plus. So I'm gonna close that out. So being the salesperson, I just reviewed that. Everything looks good, but I wanna share that with my customer now. So I wanna take that file in that file attachment field, and I wanna send it to my customer, which is my Gmail address. So I'm gonna click so I'm gonna click this button here. It's gonna update this courier trigger, which is gonna fire courier to send an email to this email address, and it's gonna take that file and send it. So I click that button. It so, again, here's how we're able to trigger our add ons based on an event taking place in Quickbase. So I updated this trigger field. I have an email notification, a Quickbase email notification sent to trigger exact to send the email out to my Gmail. So I'm just gonna come over here and just wait for that to happen. Here it is. And, actually, I chain I I wanted to show this. So Matthew on our team, I'm I'm sending it out from him. So I'm using his actual email address to send this. So let's take a look at that. So I have a custom message body here pulling data from my Quickbase record, and there's that file attachment. So let's say I'm the customer. I'm gonna review that and see if I agree to it. So I'm looking at it. I see what what they're proposing. I see everything here. Everything looks good. I'm gonna send them a note back to to Matthew. Say, Matthew, you know what? Send me this. I wanna sign it. I'm good with it. So let's let's let's send it to me for signature. Signature. So we're coming back to our proposal record. One thing I wanna show also is here's here's traceability. So when I click that send to to courier, I logged that I did send that email right in my proposal. So I can take a look at that and say, here's actually what happened. It was sent from Matthew. It was sent to Keith. Here's the message body and some other details about it, what configuration was used, and actually the file that was sent. So all of that now is logged in Quickbase, so I don't have to to think that I ever send that proposal out. So and, also, we we update a date and time on the record so you know that when it was sent. And then you can build drip campaigns off of this as well. So let's say Keith didn't respond to Matthew, and you wanna have a a a campaign set up to send every seven days. I want Curry to send an email back to Keith and say, hey. I sent you that proposal. What do you think? We we actually use this ourselves with within our quoting application. So so the next step, obviously, Keith, the customer said, yeah. I'm good with that proposal. Send it for signature. So now here we have our Juice sign. So I'm gonna click send to Juice sign. So what it's gonna do and we have a splash screen that pops up here because it's just a confirmation screen. It's say saying, okay. You're gonna send out this proposal. You're gonna send it the the the salesperson is Keith, and the customer is Keith the customer. Here's the email addresses. Here's the order. So the customer's not gonna get it until Keith the seller signs off on it. And there's two different user experiences here. Obviously, I can send this out to Keith, the seller, via email, but I don't wanna do that. I wanna sign it right in Quickbase. So we have what we call a captive recipient experience. So when I click to send to to JuSign, it's gonna open up that document right in this screen here so that Keith, seller, can sign on it. That's what I'm gonna do. And after I I'm I'm done as Keith, seller, it's gonna automatically send an email to Keith, the buyer. So I'm gonna click send to JuiceSign. So it's opening up inside this window. So I can see actually, that was that proposal that we generated with ExactFrance Plus. And what I also wanna show before I actually sign this, I wanna move this out of the way here. I wanna refresh my Quickbase screen because what I wanna show you is how we're tracing and man managing this within Quickbase. So if I scroll down to my juice science section, you'll see now I have two recipients, Keith the seller and Keith the buyer. Here's where it was sent. So, obviously, Keith the buy the buyer hasn't gotten anything yet, but we know that this was delivered because I opened it in in that window. And we created an agreement. We're storing all of this right in Quickbase. So let's actually come back in here. I'm gonna check this box here, and I'm just gonna come back and hit refresh. Let's scroll back down to the juice science section. And we can see the status was changed automatically by me checking that box, so it was open. So I'm gonna continue on with the signing process. I'm gonna open this up a little bit more. I can click on the terms and terms and conditions, make sure that I agree to signing this electronically. I do. I'm gonna continue, but maybe I I wanna download this as a PDF, or maybe I wanna decline to sign because I don't agree with it or finish it later. I could do that. There's different options, but I'm gonna continue. So I'm gonna review this as the as the customer. Everything looks good. I'm gonna click my start. It takes me right to the seller spot. So so, again, I'm the I'm the seller. I'm sending this out to my customer. I I'm agreeing that and I'm actually, I'm gonna former CEO. But, you know, before I do that, I wanna show you there's a spot on the record that I'm gonna bring data back. You can see the seller title and the client title. The values that we enter here are actually gonna come back to Quickbase. So I'm gonna finish this. And, actually, this this signature page here, this is customizable. This is the default. So so our customers can actually control this, and you can have your own. You can design the page, we can use that as the as the completion page, if you will. So I'm gonna close this. I'm gonna come back and refresh my Quickbase record. While that's happening, also, an email is being sent to Keith, the buyer. But, look, as you can see here, we have this title which brought back right from that user experience. And now I'm gonna I'm gonna scroll down a little bit here back to my juice sign section. You can see that Keith, the seller completed when it was delivered, when it was opened, and when Keith, the buyer, actually the the seller actually signed off on this. And then that right now, the status of of the Gmail email that went out to me as the customer is set to deliver. So I'm gonna go back into my Gmail, and I'm gonna search for that email. So there it is. It came in at 11:33, which is eastern time right now. So this email came out to me as the buyer. This is what the email looks like, and and we can brand that. So your logo could appear there. And so, really, it's basically saying here, you if if you wanna review this, you gotta click to review, but it's it's saying that a a a document was sent for you to sign. Here's the agreement ID that we use. So, again, it's a unique identifier. But if I'm just gonna click on this to to open up that file to actually sign it. So here I am as the as the buyer now, and now I'm gonna click that. I do agree to the terms, but let's just move let's let's go go back over here and refresh again. Yeah. We wanna see that real time tracking happening right in Quickbase. So see now it's open. It went from delivered to open just by me clicking on that checkbox. So now I'm gonna continue as the buyer, start the process. Here, I see the the the agreement. I see the pricing. I'm good with it. I see that my seller signed off on everything, and now I'm gonna sign off on everything. And, again, here's that there's the other PDF that came from Excel docs. So I'm gonna sign off, and maybe I'm the operations manager at my company. And, again, we're gonna see that OM title come back into Quickbase. So I'm gonna finish this. Again, that splash screen, congratulations. You're done. I'm gonna close that window, come back to my proposal, refresh. And there's a couple of things happening as well as as as we're updating Quickbase and letting everybody know that, hey. Status is completed. This is the details when it was delivered, when it was opened, when it was signed, and these are date time fields too so you can see what the the the agreement itself. So we store the an agreement record as well as the recipients. So the recipients are are child records to our agreement. So we can see this at a high level here. But what we're doing now is let's scroll up, let's see that title from our OM. So there's the OM title. So, again, we brought data back. So let's say you had a purchase order that you wanted to bring back from that agreement. You can actually put that in there or anything else in there. So I'm gonna refresh this screen here because what what's happening behind the scenes now is we are generating what we call a certificate of completion, and we're also trying to store that final executed document back into Quickbase. And there we have it. So that document that was that the fully executed document comes right back into Quickbase. So let's take a look at that. I'm gonna blow it up a little bit. So here we go. Here's the document, and we're gonna see there's the seller's signature. There's the buyer's signature. Everything looks good, and there's what we call an agreement certificate. So this is basically a summary. It's an audit trail of what actually took place, what happened during the signing process. And here it is, the IP address of of each signer, when it was delivered, when it was opened, they when they when they actually clicked that terms of, terms acceptance, their signature, their initials, all of that good stuff, the terms and conditions that were in play when they actually agreed to the terms, that starts a certificate of acceptance right there. So that's that. And, again, this is all managed and and and contained within Quickbase. Now a text message also went out while we were doing that. So I'm gonna actually bring over remember I entered my cell phone number before into the original setup? And I did that because I just got I used TextMyQuickbase to trigger a message saying, hey. Thanks for signing that proposal. So you know what? I'm gonna actually say, okay. You're welcome. Boom. So here, we're gonna track a conversational message back and forth. Down below here, that was the original message that was sent out. And now I'm gonna just move this out of the way. I'm gonna refresh my screen. I'm gonna scroll down to my texting area. And there we go. We got the conversation started in TrackRev and in Quickbase. So that's why I ended that that cell phone number at the beginning because I wanted to show how you can incorporate text by Quickbase into the signing process, if you will, to to notify the the the the customer that you're sending this out whether, hey. They need to sign it. You can also do that with reminders and text as well. So so that was, like, a conversational track here. So so here, we just showed Excel Docs, ExactFonts Plus, Courier, and TextMyQuickbase, and YouSign. So we showed five of those six add ons that are part of the bundle working in conjunction in a really cool and automated workflow. The only add on that we didn't hit right now was our our maps add on. So with that, I'm gonna jump over to my home page and show you how we're gonna demo that one. So let's say we have some some reps out in the field. I have I have a rep out in the field, and I wanna send them a message. So I'm gonna actually use text my Quickbase as well as our Maps add on. So right now, I I have my users table. I have one user, which is actually me. I'm gonna actually trigger a go out to to Keith in the field because I wanna grab his location. I wanna know where he is. So I'm gonna click this button here, which it it's just doing an edit record. It's it's updating this checkbox. And what that's doing is it's firing off an email notification to our TextMyQuickbase add on, which is now gonna send a message out. Oh, wait. Let me pull this over. Alright. So here's my cell phone again. So it just sent this message out just by clicking that button. And and you can actually send out a message in bulk. So you can click a button, and it can send out multiple. In this case, I just wanted to send one. So I'm gonna click this link here, And now it's gonna open up a screen so that I can enter in my technician name. So this is Keith Justice. What shift? I'm I'm I'm on the the midday shift. And, you know, what's your favorite color? Just I'm just entering a couple here just to show you how we can kinda collect some additional data. This is just a standard quick based form. So now now that I I captured that information, I wanna get the current location. So, basically, I wanna know where is this person. And I'm gonna click the current get current location, and I'm I'm just allowing Qubi maps to check check on my location. So there we go. We open up a QV Map, which is really a Google Map, but it's in it's our it's in our QV Maps add on. So I can see exactly where I am. But what I also did was I have another table of some other locations. Actually, you know what? Let me do this. Bring that over. Okay. Just pull this over. So we have some other locations in my additional locations table, and you can see those right in the map. So I I and I I decided I checked off the ones that I actually wanted to appear in that map. So let's look at Danford's. Danford's is right here. So if I look at Danford's on the map, there you go. You could see Danfords. You can see the the address, which is which is shown right on the address field here. So these were some of the fields that I wanted to show in the in the pop up. And and, again, this is just being able to show multiple locations right within, the Google Map. So I'm gonna also show my users tab here, my current locations. I'm gonna pull that up. So here, I captured and stored the latitude and longitude, but actually, you know what? I'm gonna refresh that. I wanna show that in the mobile app. So so you can see right here, we don't have the latitude and longitude because we didn't refresh the screen here. So from the mobile experience, you can still see here's the latitude and longitude that were stored in Quickbase, and it's right here on my on my on my mobile app. So, again, this is a way that you can capture the location of your cell of your field reps when they're out in the field. Move that over. So now another use case for QB Maps is, let's say I wanna see a lot more of what's going on in in my application. I have a bunch of locations stored in in my additional locations table, And I also have some of some of my users in there. Actually, I'm just gonna pull up one user. So I'm clicking my Google Maps. So there's Keith, the technician, exactly where he is. Here's all of those hotel locations again. I can I can click on the button? I can see it. I can actually zoom zoom in and zoom out. I can look at that Danford location again. I can actually click to view it, take me right to the record in Quickbase if I want to to see more information about that particular location or edit it. I'm gonna close this. I'm gonna go back to the map. But what happens if I wanna come up with a route? I wanna go to I'm a technician, and I have to service a bunch of these hotels. And I wanna know how how can I do that? What's the best way to do that? So I wanna go get my driving directions. And you know what? Maybe I wanna do multiple locations, so I'm gonna enable multiselect. And you see this little window pop up here, a little toolbar pop up here. So I'm gonna actually grab with a shape all of these locations. And you know what? I wanna start where I am in the Orange location, and I wanna end up in Glen Cove over here. So let's do that. Let's end up in Glen Cove, and let's get the directions. So cool. So it's showing me the directions from a to b, and so I'm gonna go to all of these different locations. And I have that mapped out for me here, but that's not so great. Long Island, there's a lot of traffic on Long Island. I never know which is the best route to go and and how I'm gonna optimize my time. So let's open this in actual Google Maps. So now I'm gonna open it in Google Maps. I'm gonna drill in a little bit here. Wow. There's no traffic on Long Island. I guess because it's right before lunchtime. So but you can see, like, when here's some different locations, and you can see them pop up. But let's say I I'm gonna start at the first location, and it's taking me to oh, it's taking me all the way to Garden City. Well, maybe I don't wanna do that. Maybe I wanna go to a location in Jericho before that. So let's just move this guy up right there. I'll go to Garden City later. Okay. So I'm gonna zoom in a little bit more. So now it's gonna take me from my first location to my Garden City location. Oh, wait. As to my my Jericho location. And you know what? Maybe I don't wanna do it that way. I wanna move another way around. I'm gonna pull the Huntington location up, another Huntington location. So, really, this is just a way to interact with the map and get you driving directions. You can take full advantage of Google at this point. If you wanted to drop the the the little guy in in here just to see anything more about the locations, you can do that. But this is really the interactiveness of of your Google Map and and and our Google Maps integration. So so that is, I think wow. I had it just in time. So that is really now finishing up the the final add on, which was Google Maps. And that concludes the demo for me. Awesome. I think Matt has gotten to a lot of the technical questions, but I'm gonna watch the chat. Go ahead and drop in your questions there. I'm gonna try and hit some of the some of the kind of overall questions about billing and existing juice agreements and things like that. And then if there's any other kind of future questions and so on, we can we can we can go on and and do our best to answer those. So, right now, we're focused on continuity for existing customers. So if you do have a juice agreement, I would encourage you to reach out to your your account team, and they'll kinda look at what the situation is with you. If you're using one of those six extensions that we're offering, we can kinda talk about how to get you into the bundle so that you get access to more to get access to more extensions, and and, you know, we can kinda figure all of that out as it relates to as it relates to price. What we're doing now is we're looking at what the other extensions are. So the other let's call them roughly fourteen, fifteen or so that Juice has built over the years and figuring out what are the next things that we wanna prioritize and and how do we wanna bring those. We're obviously very sensitive to people who have been working directly with Juiced over the last, in some cases, two decades. So we're gonna do our best to balance that as, you know, as delicately as we can while we bring all of those to bring all these extensions under the Quickbase umbrella. So, if that is something that you have ongoing, for folks that, like, have renewals in January and February, we've already started those conversations. If you want that conversation with your account team, definitely reach out proactively and and start discussing that. And, again, we're we're doing our best to be as flexible as we can, while balancing everything, everything there. And so as we bring all these under the Quickbase umbrella, there was a question about, like, is there a new portal? There is a new portal. Actually, JUSE was working on that before the acquisition anyway. What we did is we worked on a single sign on so you don't have to register separately. So anyone who signs up for, the extension today will actually see that when they get their invite, that will be the new portal. They won't have to register for anything separate, and they'll get, they'll get invited into that. And then we're working on now how do we, how do we migrate everyone. So I think I'm just looking at the oops. Filter by unanswered. So, Harrison, we've got a I've got a few for you up here. One that I'll address really quick. I know we got a handful of questions towards the end here again about the recording of this webinar. We have been recording this. We will send that out to you all via email tomorrow. So keep an eye on your email inbox. We will get that over to you so that you can revisit this or send it on to anyone that you might need. So Harrison or Keith, we've got a couple. queued up for you guys here. Again, I know Matt was answering some stuff in the background, but one we've got here, do esignatures work with non Quickbase users? And if so, are they using EOTI or user token functionality to send that into Quickbase? And how are we tracking IP for signers who are not Quickbase users? Yeah. Good question. Yes. Yeah. We can definitely send out to non users. The only person in the signing process that needs to be a Quickbase user should be the person who's using captive recipient like I showed you as as the seller. But the email is like that went to my Gmail. My Gmail, it is not a user even though they're actually, they're in the user's table, but they're not a physical user of the of the Quickbase application. So any email address it can go out to, we're capturing the the IP address of their Internet connection. So if if they're hardwired at at some office, we're gonna grab that IP location from there. If they're out in field on a mobile device, we'll grab their IP address from the the service provider that they're using at that point in time. Awesome. Perfect. And I just I see something that, there hit the hit the q and a, Ryan. Yeah. So so you don't have to migrate anything technically, Ryan. The the well, when you when we give you access to the new portal, then, you know, you could go there. But, like, the actual installation in your application, none none of that none of that changes. Awesome. Thanks, Harrison. Question here in regards to TextMyQuick based functionality. Are there waivers involved to get end users approval to receive messages? Yeah. Nothing. So I think, Matt might have answered. I thought I saw a comment somewhere, but just so everyone has that, you know, visibility, yes, there is a registration process to be able to text people. It's actually a little bit more strict than email, and we do have a document, that walks people through that. So you do have to have a phone number, with a with a text provider that, that we're integrated with. And and, again, that's that is documented. The the cost isn't substantial there, but you do have to kinda register for the process to be able to text people from a from a central phone number. Perfect. Charlie, I see a really good question about from Todd. So one one thing, it's just as a utility contractor, if you could see system assets on the map, pull up records, and so on. One thing to to point out, we do have FastField as well, which is a a field service offering. And so that has actually a feature that's called asset and team tracking. And so that's like live plotting on a map, dispatching, things like that. So if that is something that that you wanna talk about, Todd, with your, you know, with with your Quickbase folks, we're we're happy to do that as well. Perfect. Thanks, Harrison. Here's another one that we got a couple times. I think Matt answered directly, but just wanna address, to everyone as well since we saw it come through a few times. Juiced sign, can the sent documents have an expiration time? Yes. Yes. And I didn't show the details of that little window that popped up when I said send to Juiceign, but there's default settings in there. We can have it expire after thirty days, after sixty days, and you can fully control that, and you can control that your Quickbase application agreement to agreement if you want. There's also reminders that get sent out from JuSign. So you can set it to have a delay, similar to DocuSign, if if you're familiar with DocuSign. There's a delay in the process, so don't start sending out reminders until after two days. Then after two days, start sending out reminders every seven days, and then send out a warning reminder five days before the agreement expires. So the agreement can expire at any given time that you want it to, and you can actually even void that agreement in play. Let's say you don't wanna wait till the expiration date. Something happened along the way. I just wanna void it. We give you a button right within Quickbase that says void agreement so that you'll you'll stop the process, and now it's null and void. Awesome. Thanks, Keith. Harrison, I think this one might be for you on for those packages in the contract level, like business or enterprise plans on Quickbase, are those minimums? So wondering specifically if an enterprise customer can just do the lowest level, it requires at least business. So can you walk through kind of that packaging in those minimum levels quick again? Yeah. So, on the business plan, you can get the extensions core package. The you can you can get any of the three packages on business. Extensions pro and extensions enterprise are only available on on business or enterprise. So, basically, the higher accounts are available on those higher plans in line with people that that are scaling Quickbase, to to a more platform level. Perfect. Alright. Seeing what else we've got here. Let's see. Oh, the one I was gonna answer just disappeared, so Matt must have answered that one in the background there, which is great. We have got a question here again around kind of contracting. Will Teams level Quickbase users lose. access to their current juice products? Yeah. Good question, Ed. No, I we're again, we're really focused on simplicity right now. So, at least for, you know, the next, you know, the next year, we haven't gone further out. I would encourage you to talk to your sales team, but the intent is not to, you know, go take things away from you, as much as as much as we can. So we're planned out through 2026 right now as far as kind of what what that looks like. And then right now, we're kinda looking at, okay, what are we what are the what are the what does the future hold? How do we think about kind of, normalizing all of these? But but at least in the year, you know, 2026 as you renew, you you can continue using that, for at least this this renewal cycle. We just the honest truth is we haven't gotten much further than that yet. Awesome. Thank you, Harrison. Alright. Let's see here. Question around the, map functionality. Are there any limitations on data points or locations in the map? No. Actually, you can we we have one map instance that we show all of the airports throughout North America. So we actually can click a button and see 700 different pins throughout the map. Not sure why you would wanna see that many pins on a map. It's unmanageable, but you're not limited to a 100 pins, and and it you we you know, you can have hundreds of pins if you really need that. We've had a customer that actually had over a thousand PINs that they would explain at one point in time. It gets unmanageable, but it can be done. Wonderful. Thank you. Alright. Let's see what we've got here. I know we've got just a few minutes left. Keep the questions coming in. Let me see here. Another plan question, Harrison, probably for you. Are there restrictions on purchasing just the SMS service? So everything is is is offered as a bundle. Most of these use cases are, you know, folks using them all all you know, in multiple at at once. So, for example, you're generating a document and signing and sending it out, that sort of thing. And so we are currently offering them only as a bundle. Excellent. Thank you. Alright. Question around courier. Does the courier provide the option to send and receive ad hoc nontemplate emails? No. Courier is outbound only. So so Courier won't ingest emails. So it's just basically gonna send out emails to customers, business partners, users, etcetera. Etcetera. I'm wondering if the question is about now I you're making me think, Keith. Is the question about inbound, or is the question when we say send ad hoc non template emails, like, I suppose you could put a button on a form that adds a record. It wouldn't to your point, it wouldn't ingest it. But I suppose you could, like, fill out a subject and a body on a form and kinda send someone out out that way. Right. Right. But but Curia doesn't monitor their response like our two. way communication with text just to make that clear too. Awesome. Excellent. Oh, thanks, for. Great follow-up there, Harrison. Alright. Let's see. We've probably got time for maybe one more question here before we wrap. So I know there's a few more questions in here about kind of, like, cost structure, packaging, things like that. Just for the sake of time, I'm Harris, I'm not gonna have you that. But if you did ask a question about out of cost structure, your current pricing, packaging, things like that, we will have your account executive or CSM follow-up with you directly and chat through all of that stuff. So good questions around that. Another maps question that we've got here, can you customize the maps, like clustering records at the same location and showing count? I I know when we have when we have locations that have the same lat and longitude, they will kinda overlay each other. It's a good question. I thought we did have this where we were able to put the number the number that of locations that that might be at that same coordinate. I have to look into that one. I forget. I'm not sure if Matthew or my team knows about that one or not and answer in the chat, but, yeah, I'm not sure about that one. Alright. Thanks, Keith. We'll have Matthew follow-up or have someone get on that question directly. I know we've got, like, one minute left here. We still have some questions coming in. So we are, again, kind of at time. So I'll wrap us up here. If you did ask a question that went unanswered, we will make sure that someone reaches out to you as soon as possible to get you that answer to your question. Again, if you ask a question as well around kind of your specific account, pricing, packaging, things like that, we will make sure that your CSM or account executive reaches out to you as well to answer that question and discuss that pricing package with all of you as well. Really quick here before we go as well, we just wanted to make the call out. Our customer events in power is happening in May in Houston, and we actually just extended our early bird pricing by two weeks. So early bird pricing was set to end at the January, and we have extended it through Valentine's Day, February 14. So kinda your last chance to get that lowest possible price to join us in Houston. You'll be able to see myself, Harrison, and Keith in person in Houston, which is great, and chat more about all these great features and all the things that we have to come. So we would love to see you guys there. And, again, make sure you take advantage of that early bird pricing. Final reminder, the recording of the webinar will be sent to you all via email tomorrow, so be on the lookout for that. And, again, we'll have someone follow-up with you directly on any of those questions that went unanswered or around that specific packaging. So with that, thank you all for joining. Keith, Harrison, thank you guys so much for walking through the extensions today. Great presentation. Really appreciate the both of you taking the time. Again, thanks, everyone, and have a great rest of your day. Thank you.
